Celebrating the Official Opening of The Sustainability Project’s Emerson Brook Forest Center
Sunday, September 29th, from 10 am to 3 pm
The public is invited to join The Sustainability Project for a family-oriented day at the Emerson Brook Forest Center located at 57 Emerson Brook Drive in Gilsum, NH. Light refreshments will be served.

10 am - Opening Words; Memorial Tree Planting; Dedication of the Shirlee Ingalls Memorial Trail
11 am - Tour of the Piedmont-Fleischmann Emerson Brook Forest Solar Powered Homestead
12 pm - Ribbon Cutting by State Senator, Molly Kelly; Picnic and Acoustic Concert by Andrew Reynolds
1 pm – Interpretive Hike with Naturalists Lionel Chute and Tom Sintros
All Day Activities – Guided Tours of the Center's Wheelchair Accessible Gardens and Trails; Garden Demonstrations; Youth Activities

National Public Lands Day in the Emerson Brook Forest - On Saturday, September 28th, from 8 am – 4 pm, The Sustainability Project invites volunteers to join in National Public Lands Day, as Phase One of the Emerson Brook Forest Nature Center reaches completion. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer event for improving lands for public use. For more information about the national effort, visit www.publiclandsday.org/. Participants are invited to stay on for a potluck supper, overnight camp-out and breakfast before we celebrate our opening.
