Your generous support helps fund our mission driven programs and the work we do at the Emerson Brook Forest Outdoor Center.

We’re delighted to let you know that after 6 months of uninterrupted work, our 1200 sq. ft. building is nearing completion. The building has been timber framed and enclosed, hemlock flooring has been laid down, and windows, sky tubes, doors and a standing seam roof have been installed. The structure now has a storage loft and the entire building is ready to accept insulation. Additional parking has been established, and pathways to the main structure, latrine and surrounding features have been landscaped for eventual wheelchair accessibility.

We’re thrilled to announce we just received a second Putnam Foundation grant award! The award includes an initial grant of $10,000 and a challenge to raise $10,000 from our community to unlock an additional $10,000 matching grant. This means your donation now has twice the impact!

Once completed, the building will support TSP’s nature-based activities, workshops and retreats, and serve as a resource for local civic, religious, business, environmental, cultural and educational organizations. It will provide shelter for visitors and house a permanent exhibit of the Clay Heads sculptures as well as rotating exhibits by regional artists and craftspeople.

Thank you in advance for helping us see this building project to the finish line. Donations to The Sustainability Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, are tax deductible. You can donate through our PayPal page (button below) or mail a contribution to PO Box 311, Gilsum, NH 03448.
