Your generous support helps fund our mission driven programs and the work we do at the Emerson Brook Forest Outdoor Center.
The Sustainability Project’s construction process, now in its 4th month, is coming along beautifully. Made primarily from locally sourced and environmentally friendly materials the building is a work of art in itself. Set to be completed by the end of the year, it will enable The Sustainability Project to host an array of inclusive, multigenerational and mission-aligned programs, nature-based community leadership workshops and retreats, provide shelter for visitors, and create an exhibit space for the museum quality Clay Head Sculpture of the late Susan O’Hara as well as local and regional artists and craftspeople.
We started this project knowing that we would have to raise funds along the way. It has been easier for us to ask for financial support from our community now that the dream of this building has taken physical form. For the months of September and October our goal is to raise $5000. To begin this campaign, The Savings Bank of Walpole has offered to match the first $2,000 raised. Thank you in advance for making a donation and for your continued support of The Sustainability Project. Together, we can further an appreciation of our beautiful planet and leave a legacy for all species.
